APPRENTICE WORK

Experience the real everyday work of an apprentice at SOZO Hair & Make. SOZO Hair & Make is the top international hair salon in Tokyo. Students will be able to learn first hand how an apprentice supports the backbone of the salon by completing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

JAPANESE SERVICE

Learn why Japanese service is one of the best in the world. Students will get to experience the physical mannerisms and beliefs that make getting a haircut at SOZO Hair & Make so memorable for many foreign clients. Learn the basics of shampooing and massaging.

SEE PROFESSIONALS

Students will have the opportunity to watch top hairstylists in Tokyo up-close, cutting and styling real clients. Learn how stylists are creating the styles by standing at the POV of the stylist. Experience what goes on behind the curtain, and see how stylists create and choose chemicals for color and perm.

INTERACT GLOBALLY

Students will have the chance to interact with a global client base that SOZO Hair & Make has. SOZO Hair & Make is one of the few salons in Tokyo that can accommodate to any hair type. This results in customers from all over the world coming to the salon. Students will be able to interact with them.
