TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TRAINING COURSES BOOKINGS

The following Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement between you (“the Participant”) and SOZO Education Inc. (“SOZO Education”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) in relation to our training courses.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
 

1. Bookings and Payment

All course bookings must be made through our website or by direct contact with our team.

To secure a place on a course, the Participant must choose one of the following payment options:

Payment of 20% of the total course fee as a deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining 80% payable no later than 28 days before the course start date or Full payment (100% of the course fee) at the time of booking.


Accepted payment methods are credit card, debit card, or overseas bank remittance.

Monthly installment payments or payment plans are not available.

A booking is confirmed only once SOZO Education has received the deposit or the full course fee.

By booking a course with SOZO Education Inc., the Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
 

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing (including by email) as soon as possible.

If you cancel more than 28 days before the course start date, a refund will be issued minus 10% of the total course fee, which will be retained as an administrative and transaction fee.

If you cancel within 28 days of the course start date, no refund will be provided under any circumstances.

Where a refund is applicable, any bank charges, overseas remittance fees, or currency exchange losses incurred during the refund process may be deducted from the refunded amount or borne by the Participant.
 

3. Course Changes

SOZO Education reserves the right to make changes to the course content, schedule, instructors, or location where necessary. If a material change occurs, we will notify the Participant as soon as reasonably possible and offer one of

the following options:

Transfer to another course; or A full refund of the course fee.

This does not apply in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, transportation disruptions, or sudden illness of instructors.
 

4. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SOZO Education accepts no liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during participation in our courses.

Participants are responsible for their own safety and must follow all instructions provided by SOZO Education staff and instructors at all times.
 

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in course materials, including but not limited to documents, images, videos, and other content, are owned by SOZO Education Inc.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any course materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from SOZO Education.
 

6. Privacy

Personal information provided by the Participant will be used solely for the purposes of managing bookings, delivering courses, and communicating with Participants.

We will not share personal information with third parties without the Participant’s consent, except where required by law.
 

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court, Japan, as the court of first instance.
